All about Aruba!

Did you know Aruba is also called "one happy island"? The small island located in the Caribbean is only 32 kilometers long and 10 kilometers wide. Perfect to bike, don't you think? Well, you would be wrong, there are a lot of wild dogs that make it nearly impossible. Apart from the wild dogs, Aruba is a true gem with its sunny climate, breathtaking beaches, and welcoming culture! Approximately 106,000 people live there, and most of them speak Dutch. Next year I will take advantage of that, but we can't forget how this happened. Colonization is not just something you can forget. I hope I get to learn more about Aruba's true history when I'm there! Aruba enjoys a nearly constant warm climate with little rainfall, perfect for sun lovers. The island is famous for its white sandy beaches like Eagle Beach and Palm Beach, which are often ranked among the most beautiful beaches in the world. What many people don't know is that Aruba also has a surprisingly rugged side with Arikok National Park, where you can explore impressive caves, natural pools, and wild nature. Whether you want to relax on the beaches, seek adventures in nature, or enjoy the rich culture and history, Aruba has something for everyone.
